The full squadra lined up for the Steel City Showdown this past weekend on a windy and chilly day in Pittsburgh. For those who don’t know, the race (last held in 2008) takes place in beautiful downtown Pittsburgh and the course passes PNC Park and crosses over both the Clemente and Warhol bridges.
The deep field of local and regional talent started the race fast, and after a flurry of early attacks, Jared was away in the break and Mike was off the front of the field chasing solo. At the end of the day, the team worked together to accomplish what it set out to do, with Jared outsprinting 3 teammates from RGF for the win, and Mike coming in 5th.

Big Kudos to Mike C, Ben S, and all the promoters who made this race such a huge success – apparently next year’s planning has already begun, and no doubt the race is going to be even better. It’s already one of the premier cycling events in PA, and we’re excited for next year!
